Who we are

This policy explains how Marzi Laser Hair Removal Clinic collects and uses personal information. We are based at 210 Bernard Ave, Kelowna, BC.

What we collect

When you visit this website. This site is a set of static pages. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and reliability.

If you choose to load the Google Map on our contact page, that content is served by Google and may set cookies at that point. The map does not load until you click it — that is deliberate.

When you book. Bookings are handled by our third-party booking provider, which collects your name, contact details and appointment history under its own privacy policy.

When you become a client. We keep a treatment record: your skin assessment, patch test results, the laser settings used at each session, relevant medical history and medications, consent forms, and any adverse reactions. We need this to treat you safely — it is the reason session eight can be calibrated to you rather than to an average.

Why we keep it and for how long

We use your information to provide treatment safely, to contact you about appointments, and to meet our record-keeping obligations. Treatment records are retained for the period required for health records in British Columbia, then securely destroyed.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties except where necessary to provide the service (our booking provider), or where required by law.

Marketing

We only send marketing messages if you have opted in, and every message includes a way to opt out. Opting out of marketing does not affect appointment reminders.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law you may:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
• Withdraw consent for uses that are not required for your care or by law
• Complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

To make a request, email or call us using the details on our contact page. We will respond within 30 days.

Photographs

We only take before-and-after photographs with your specific written consent, and separately ask before using any image publicly. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. Declining has no effect on your treatment.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
